Tsarova I. Lexico-Derivative Structure of Contemporary Ukrainian Legal Text

The concept of describing the system model of the derivative word space as a multidimensional, dynamic and self-organized structure of the contemporary legal text has been created; the status of lexico-derivative relations in ontological and epistemological aspects has been grounded; paradigmatic connections in vocabulary in derivative aspect have been considered and descriptions of common root words in terms of synonymy and homonymy have been described from these positions; the specifications and derivative words have been distinguished as basic concepts of lexical derivation reflecting various aspects of the derivative functioning of a word in modern legal text; principles of comparison of genetic and synchronous-functional model of derivative word, typology of specifications of modern legal text have been developed; the method of derivative-lexicological analysis of the modern Ukrainian legal text has been tested. The thesis presents a new direction in modern linguistics – lexical-derivative jurislinguistics.
