Essay

The habilitation thesis is devoted to the development of Theoretical fundamentals of logistics engineering of freight flows in urban transport systems. Assessment the effectiveness of logistics engineering of freight flows in urban transport systems, it is proposed to use an integrated indicator that takes into consideration revenues from the sale of freight, the cost of its distribution and the cost of end-consumers due to the acquisition process. The established interrelation of parameters of freight distribution technology and probability of distribution of demand of end-consumers is generalized in the approach to logistic engineering of freight flows in urban transport systems. A model for changing the probability of distribution of end-consumers demand is developed, which takes into consider energy and time expenses associated with the movement of end-consumers to retailers, retail network parameters and characteristics of competitors, which allows to estimate the amount of freight delivery to service areas. The set of technological parameters of the distribution process and demand characteristics, which determine the feasibility of the scheme of freight supply, vehicle capacity, frequency of deliveries, which maximized integrated efficiency of the good’s distribution. The efficiency of technological processes in different schemes of freight traffic depends on the parameters of the individual participants of the system, which included the following: the number of participants and service time of the retail network, the average distance from supplier to retail network, traffic amount, total vehicle mileage, average distance between points of freight delivery, the area of the distribution center and individual members of the retail network, the average stock time period at the warehouse. The value of these parameters was obtained as a result of the analysis of the logistics market and the work of transport, warehousing and trade enterprises. The statistical processing of the obtained data made it possible to generalize the patterns of the components of logistics costs for the distribution of freight flow on the characteristics of technological processes and demand parameters of end-consumers.
