The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical and methodical bases of fitness technologies application during physical education lessons for students of higher educational establishments.
The methodical system of fitness technologies application in the process of physical education of students in higher education institutions was developed and substantiated. The modern approaches to fitness technologies application during physical education classes were revealed and generalized and the conceptual and categorical apparatus of research was specified. The pedagogical conditions of fitness technologies application during physical education classes for students in higher education institutions were revealed and characterized (creating a health-preserving educational environment aimed at ensuring the self-realization of students’ potential; formation of students’ motivation for fitness technologies usage during educational and physical culture and health-improving activity; improvement of physical education classes by means of health-preserving fitness technologies; taking into account the psychological, pedagogical and age-related characteristics of students and the personification of physical education process; development of fitness-technological competence of teachers of physical education departments). The model of methodical system of fitness technologies application in physical education process of students was developed, which includes following structural blocks: target, content-organizational, technological, control-diagnostic. The target block consists of goals, objectives and functions of fitness technology. The content-organizational block reflects the content of physical education process, theory and methods of teaching fitness technologies, organizational and methodological support for fitness technologies usage, orientation of the educational process in physical education. The technological block of the model includes the application of fitness technologies in physical education process, principles, methods, forms and means of teaching fitness technologies. The control-diagnostic block of the model contains components of readiness for fitness technologies usage during physical education process, such as: motivational, cognitive, activity, reflexive, as well as levels of physical culture and health competencies, namely: high, sufficient, medium and low. The result was the formation of readiness of students for fitness technologies usage during physical education process in higher educational institutions.
Criteria: (value-motivational, cognitive, implementation, evaluation-corrective) and levels: (high, sufficient, medium and low) of readiness of future physical education specialists for fitness technologies usage during physical education classes were determined.
The effectiveness of the developed methodical system of fitness technologies application during physical education process of students of higher educational institutions was experimentally tested.
