The dissertation comprehensively explores the theoretical and methodological principles of cross-cultural education of masters of tourism, the determinants of which are: Ukraine's integration into the intercultural space, the expansion of economic ties necessitate the modernization of the training of masters in tourism grounded on the improvements of the theoretical and methodological foundations for effective intercultural interaction in the area of tourism. Therefore, there has been described the international experience on application of the basic approaches of the cooperation regulation of Ukraine with the European Union in the field of tourism. In the course of the research the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the research was formulated. The author's definition of the "cross-cultural education of future masters of tourism" key term cliché has been provided. On the background of the research analysis, the following components of cross-cultural education of future tourism masters have been identified, as follows: motivational-axiological, cognitive, operational, interpersonal and reflexive-analytical. In addition, the role of the regulatory framework for tourism in both countries is defined and outlined. It has been accomplished a retrospective analysis of the content-technological context of the cross-cultural education provision in Ukraine and Turkey. The essence and blocks of the professional model of cross-cultural education in Turkey have been revealed, namely: regulatory-purposeful, organizational-semantic and methodological blocks. In addition, the study focused on the possibilities of constructive ideas of the Turkish experience active application in the development of the cross-cultural education in Ukraine on the example of the International Academy of Tourism in Antalya. The contemporary state of the masters professional training in the field of tourism in Ukraine and Turkey has been characterized. Comparative and pedagogical analysis of cross-cultural education of masters of tourism in Ukraine and Turkey has made it possible to identify similar and special approaches in both countries. In both countries, the training of specialists in educational institutions is based on general didactic principles that reflect the basic approaches to the organization of education, in particular: developmental and educational nature of education; scientific, systematic and consistent; accessibility; connection of theory with practice, individualization. It has been concluded that the methodology is based on the ideas of cultural, axiological, personality-oriented, synergetic, active and competence approaches. On the other hand, the main distinctive feature in master’s degree students training in Turkey lies in application of numerous international techniques and extensive practical professional preparation, especially following The International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO). For the first time features of innovative and pedagogical conditions of cross-cultural education of masters in tourism of successful organization in Ukraine have been formulated and presented, such as: training technologies in education in the field of tourism in Ukraine; implementation of information and communication technologies and electronic teaching tools in education in the field of tourism in Ukraine; active teaching methods in the system of higher education in the field of tourism; academic mobility of masters in tourism; professional foreign language communicative competence of masters in the field of tourism: English and French. The developed methodics consisted of five stages, such as: professionally-oriented, research-designed, information-communicative, academic-mobile-practical, as well as foreign-language-communicative-practical. There has been created a multi-lingual structural and functional model, in the structure which we considered: target, conceptual-strategic, organizational-designed, procedural-technological systems, which has been experimentally tested on the basis of criteria – motivational-valuable, cognitive-knowledgable, cross-cultural-operational and levels – basic, optimal and maximum. A comparative analysis of cross-cultural education of future masters of tourism in Ukraine and Turkey allowed to substantiate the scientific and methodological recommendations for the application of the constructive ideas of the Turkish experience in the development of cross-cultural education for masters of tourism in Ukraine. Provisions on the impact of European trends and activities of the international professional organizations on the innovative development of cross-cultural education in Ukraine have been further developed.
