Essay

The dissertation for the first time scientifically substantiates theoretical and methodological principles of future psychologists’ science preparation in higher education institutions. There was developed and experimentally tested a system of science preparation of future psychologists in higher education institutions, it accumulates the author’s concept of science preparation of future psychologists in higher education institutions, a model of science preparation system for future psychologists in higher education institutions, pedagogical conditions and informational and methodical resources of future psychologists’ science preparation in higher education institutions. The model of the system of future psychologists’ science preparation in higher education institutions consists of target, conceptual, theoretical and semantic, organizational and methodological and criterion-evaluation blocks. The function of the target block of the system model is to specify the purpose of the system of science preparation of future psychologists in higher education institutions and to determine the tasks, implementation of which will contribute to its achievement. The conceptual block of the system model is based on basic provisions of fundamental theories of modern education and is represented by the author’s concept of science preparation of future psychologists in higher education institutions, methodological approaches and principles. The theoretical and semantic block of the system model highlights the theoretical principles of science preparation of future psychologists in higher education institutions and covers the content of the process of science preparation of future psychologists in higher education institutions, which is provided by the curriculum and information and methodological resources in science disciplines. The organizational and methodological block of the system model reflects the algorithm of effective implementation of science preparation of future psychologists in higher education institutions on the basis of subject-subject type of interaction of a science teacher and students-psychologists and covers stages, forms of organization and implementation of educational activities, technologies, methods and means of its implementation. The criterion-evaluation block of the system model unites the structural components of science competence of future psychologists, which is formed in the process of science preparation in higher education institutions, as well as criteria, indicators and levels of formation of this competence in psychology students. The result is a constructive increase in the levels of formation of science competence of future psychologists, which is formed in the process of science preparation in higher education institutions. The pedagogical conditions that will contribute to the implementation of the system of science preparation of future psychologists in higher education institutions include: integration of disciplines of science preparation of future psychologists taking into account the modern development of neurobiological sciences; organization of science preparation of future psychologists in higher education institutions on the basis of innovation and heuristics; improving the professional skills of teachers of science in demonstrating the functional polyvector nature of science preparation of future psychologists in higher education institutions. The author’s interpretation of the concepts «science preparation of future psychologists in higher education institutions» and «science competence of future psychologists, which is formed in the process of science preparation in higher education institutions» are given. Science competence of future psychologists was structured, it is formed in the process of science preparation in higher education institutions. In its structure the motivational-value, cognitive-semantic, operational-activity, emotional-volitional, reflexive components are singled out.
