Busarieva T. Competitiveness of TNCs in the paradigm of knowledge economy

The object - the study of processes, patterns and trends in the knowledge economy. The aim is to reveal the theoretical foundations and develop a methodology for a systematic study of the transformation of TNCs in the growing importance of the knowledge economy in the world, as well as to determine the potential for knowledge resources of innovative development of Ukrainian corporations in the global space. Methods - systems analysis, synthesis, deduction and induction, typology, historical-logical, institutional analysis, structural-functional analysis, comparisons, correlation-regression analysis, descriptive statistics and visual analysis. Novelty - the conceptual approach to the identification of the development of the knowledge economy is substantiated; a conceptual model of intellectual development of TNCs is developed; a universal model of knowledge management of TNCs is proposed; scientific and theoretical approaches to identifying the essential characteristics and trajectories of modern civilization is improved; the theoretical and methodological approach to determining the paradigm of TNC development is analyzed; scientific and theoretical principles of increasing the intellectual capital of TNCs is defined; the scientific-situational approach to the formation of the knowledge economy in Ukraine is substantiated; the categorical-conceptual apparatus in the methodological field of research is defined, which is based on the synergistic combination of the theory of knowledge economy in combination with other economic concepts; scientific and methodological approaches to the formation of "managerial creativity" are identified; scientific and theoretical substantiation of the role of the intellectual component in the process of forming the competitive potential of TNCs is given; strategic directions of knowledge economy generation in Ukraine is researched. Implemented into the work of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, the National Power Company "Ukrenergo", the Department of Economic Development, Resorts and Tourism of Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration, the network of shopping centers "Epicenter", PO "Sustainable Development Agency" Astar", PO "New Economic Policy”, «Iqvia Technology Solutions Ukraine» and «Skyworth Ukraine», as well as in the educational process of Vadym Hetman Kyiv National University of Economics.
