Essay

The research is devoted to the theoretical understanding of the transformations of tourism practices and technologies that reflect the formation of a digital society, which is marked by the emergence of multidimensional reality and introduction of digitalization in everyday life, establishment of network structures, global economy and digital culture. It was found that transformed from the practices of organizing recreational-consumer and leisure-cultural activities to an important socio-economic and cultural-communicative institution, which is reflected in all types, levels and manifestations of material and spiritual forms of culture, where tourism is a factor in establishing such a coordinate system where local and global are combined, causing the formation of a new personality type. The dissertation includes a comprehensive research of the system of tourism practices as a type of behavioral strategies that determine the socio-spatial organization of environment and a tool for positioning the national cultural product and technology for building individual life projects which made it possible to identify changes in the mode of cultural interpretation and social practices. The paper is defined the main conceptual foundations for building a tourism model of a digital society, which is based on the polyparadigmal provisions of cultural, sociological, philosophical, geographical sciences and it is presented as a sequence of stages and vectors for the development of tourist activities in their close relationship with transformational processes in culture. It contains the following components: a consumption and heritage model of cultural tourism, an impressions model of cultural tourism, a creative experience model of cultural tourism. It is proved that in the context to the establishment of information technology civilization and virtual reality, this tourism model can be implemented simultaneously at all three levels or used only in fragments, depending on the cultural and tourist territory potential and creative capital of its inhabitants. A comprehensive transdisciplinary approach based on the works by domestic and foreign specialists, allowed us to determine the essential aspects of the main tourism models. The cultural orientation of tourism models is directly related to the processes of the final transition of civilization to the information society and to the post-industrial stage of the development of tourist activities. A consumption and heritage model of cultural tourism is based on the development of cultural tourism in the conditions of cultural heritage commodification, by using the spatial structure of cultural landscapes and tourism practices in open-air museums. In impressions model of cultural tourism, the technology of servicing are aimed at constructing impressions of hospitality services, cultural narratives and participation in events. A creative experience model of cultural tourism offers practices for obtaining new knowledge, skills and creative experience in the space of creative urban areas, industrial zones and virtual reality. It is proved within the framework of this model concept that in modern cultural tourism, new more individual forms of creative activity are developing which make it possible to develop their potential by directly attracting tourists and local communities to the process of creating cultural and tourist spaces. This contributes to the fact that creative tourism is considered as the "next generation" of cultural tourism, which satisfies highest level of self-actualization need with the main focus of active skills development and opens up new opportunities for many regional cultural sectors, local cultural sites and local residents who can offer original and unique services and events to get a more complete destination idea.
