The thesis (monograph) is devoted to the study of the management of the television sphere, which is due to the transformational processes of the digital era. The genesis of the origin foreign and Ukrainian management of the television sphere has been traced. The monograph defines the spectrum of digital transformations of the television sphere system as a result of to the studied array of empirical data, databases of foreign and Ukrainian scientific works. Modern trends in the media business require and provide for a variety of ways to diversify profits through new methods of production, distribution of television resources, capitalization of business processes, collaboration with the media market. Television continues to gain a competitive advantage in the fight for the consumer through video content. Innovative drivers of management of the television industry are new managerial solutions for monetization of television content, repositioning of television broadcasters, consumer targeting, sampling tools for profit diversification, human resources. Computer-technological transformations, convergent processes, rapid integration of television resources into the Internet, digitalization of all branches of economy, science, culture, mass media have so changed the information space and media landscape that the work of the media industry, including the television industry, in the usual realities became not just impractical but also impossible. The need for quality management becomes urgent Under such conditions. The research problem to be solved is to determine the inconsistency of the level of development of the principles of television industry management with the paradigm of the latest media challenges, transformation and redistribution of the media market based on innovative business models, convergence and integration of broadcasters into the latest media.
