The thesis analyses and generalizes the methodological vectors of the study of mechanisms of economic development on innovative and investment principles in the context of globalization. Modern transformations of innovation competitiveness in the world economy and the role of globalization in building the capacity of innovation and investment modernization of economies and countries around the world have been identified. Up-to-date criteria and global assessments of the measurement of the innovation and investment potential of national economies have been systematized. The variety of the dynamics of modernization processes and the contradiction in the formation of mechanisms for innovative investment development in the context of inter-State technological asymmetry has been disclosed. A holistic concept of global transformations of financial institutional and integration mechanisms of innovative investment modernization of national economies has been developed. The characteristics of the transnationalization and globalization of modern innovation and investment processes and their impact on the transformation of the mechanism of financial support for scientific and technological development have been defined. Government and international regulation of innovation and investment modernization of the economy is justified, and the role of integrated corporate structures in the development of the capacity of national economies to modernize is shown. The globalized determinants of mechanisms for the innovative and investment modernization of the Ukrainian economy have been formulated, covering the definition of priorities for the development of international cooperation in the scientific, technical and technological spheres, Integrated cooperation mechanisms in joint clusters and technology parks, modernization of financing of investment potential. Strategic guidelines for ensuring the global competitiveness of the Ukrainian economy as a result of the action of mechanisms of innovative and investment modernization have been proposed.
