Based on informed consent in Medical-psychological center of Vinnitsa National Pirogov Memorial Medical University and Vinnytsa Regional Clinical Oncology Clinic during 2015-2019 years conducted a psychological examination of 288 cancer patients and their families: 174 women with cancer and 114 – men. At the stage of primary contact with oncological pathology there were 78 families of women and 51 families of men, and in the period after the return of the disease 96 and 63 families, respectively. The study describes the features of psycho-emotional state and distress level in cancer patients and their families depending on the stage of disease. In research analyzed personality and behavior peculiarities cancer patients in interrelation of its influence on psychological adaptation during cancer experiencing. In work revealed peculiarities of family interaction and functioning in the families with cancer patient depending on the stage of cancer – primary diagnosed cancer in patient or after cancer progression, as well as the level of psychosocial resource in the families with the cancer patient was determined. Peculiarities and disorders of family functioning of a family with a cancer patient are characterized by the parameters of cohesion, level of adaptation, family anxiety. Adaptive and non-adaptive variants of the level of emotional attachment, sense of duty and guilt were identified, which formed a triad of factors that modify family interaction. The influence of oncological disease on the family of cancer patient is systematized and a model of the influence of nosogenic stress on family functioning is developed. The psychopathogenesis of the development family adaptation in a family with a cancer patient is analyzed and determined. The quality of life in cancer patients depending on the stage of the treatment was assessed.
