It is concluded that technology is one of the phenomena of culture; they are rooted in social life, in the socio-cultural context of the era, link culture and nature. Socio-cultural potential of technologies, including digital, is primarily the introduction of technical and technological innovations in the cultural and artistic sphere. Digital technologies have not only become organic in human life, they form a new cultural experience and radically change its behavioral and cultural preferences,
so today we can confidently talk about digital culture and the digital society in general.
Emphasis is placed on the unpredictability of modern technological development, respectively, the inability to predict the scale of social and cultural. This convinces us how relevant it is today to deeply and comprehensively study the positive and negative effects of the introduction of new technologies. In the
future, their spread on a global scale will lead to even deeper qualitative changes in the socio-political and socio-humanitarian spheres will form a fundamentally new
ethics of relations. This obliges the humanities to develop theoretical and methodological foundations for the introduction of new technologies, given the scale
of their impact on all spheres in modern society: economics and politics, education and art, communication and the environment, health and education, etc. An objective
assessment of this impact necessitates a rethinking of the way in which a person subordinates and will continue to subordinate the consequences of technical and
technological development.
