Object of research: the process of the state policy formation and implementation in the field of law enforcement. The objective is the theories and methodologies development and adaptation, improvement of practical provisions of the public policy formation and implementation in law enforcement. Methods: theoretical generalization, grouping, induction and deduction, abstraction, systematization and modelling, analogy, analysis and synthesis, statistical analysis, systems approach. Results: development of the theory and methodology of the state policy formation and implementation in the field of law enforcement. Novelty: a comprehensive approach to the state policy formation and implementation in the field of law enforcement, information mechanism for the state policy formation and implementation in the field of law enforcement; improved: theoretical provisions of state policy in the field of law enforcement; initial provisions of state policy in the field of law enforcement; educational mechanism of state policy formation and implementation in the field of law enforcement; institutional support for the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of law enforcement through the justification of law enforcement activity; ensuring the state policy formation and implementation in the field of law enforcement through the systematic formalization of its financial mechanism; the procedure for financial support for the secret expenditures of law enforcement entities; further developed: substantiation of the content and designation of law enforcement activities, goal setting and identification of appeals to law enforcement activities and state policy in this area; theoretical provisions of financial support for the state policy formation and implementation in the field of law enforcement; the study of the current state of financial support of the state’s law enforcement function.
