Dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in speciality 05.13.22 – Project and Program Management. – Kiev National University of Construction and Architecture. Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Kiev, 2021. The dissertation is devoted to solving the scientific and applied problem of developing theoretical foundations and methodology that allow for step-by-step analysis, selection, optimization and assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation of modern concepts of information modelling and the integrated project delivery in construction. The aim of the study is to develop a methodology that contains cognitive mechanisms, models, methods that allows to analyse, select, optimize and evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of modern concepts of information modelling and the integrated project delivery in construction. The theoretical characteristics of the category «knowledge» in construction, modern concepts that influence knowledge management in projects, foreign experience in the implementation of information modelling are considered. Methods for assessing the effect of the implementation of information modelling and integrated project delivery in construction are analysed; current methods and tools for analysing network organizational structures and the quality of communication relationships between project participants. The advantages that key participants in the implementation of a construction project receive from the use of information modelling and the method of integrated implementation, as well as the main factors influencing the synergistic effect of the implementation of a construction project, have been investigated. The main scientific result is the creation of a methodology that includes: a model for choosing the optimal network organizational structure according to the criterion of maximum efficiency of using information links between project participants for the exchange of information and knowledge; a model for assessing the effect of the joint introduction of information modelling in construction and the integrated project delivery in construction project; a simulation model that allows for a comprehensive study and optimization of the communication network and information links between the participants of a construction project; proposed a phased schedule for the introduction of information modelling in public orders in Ukraine. The developed methods and models allow: to solve the problem of choosing the optimal network organizational structure according to the criterion of maximum efficiency of using information links between project participants; assess the effect of the joint implementation of information modeling in construction and the integrated project delivery; conduct a comprehensive study and optimization of the communication network of construction project participants. The results obtained can be used by scientific institutions, educational institutions, construction projects participants, authorities at various levels, and also form the basis for further theoretical, methodological and applied research. Keywords: cognitive mechanisms, information modelling, integrated project delivery, construction project, network structure, synergy
