In the dissertation, at the methodological, theoretical and practical levels, the principles of professional training of the future specialist in the field of culture and arts in the conditions of the axio-developmental environment of higher education institutions were investigated. The connection between the changing socio-cultural situation and the requirements for the content of cultural and artistic education is substantiated, in particular in the part of the axiological aspects of the professional training of the future specialist in the field of culture and arts. Actual problems of professional cultural and artistic training were identified and the potential of value education in solving the specified problems was revealed. On the basis of the analysis of the developments of the modern theory of values, a well-grounded understanding of the axiological competence of the future specialist in the field 02 "Culture and art" was formed, the essence of the axiological approach and the technology of its implementation in the process of professional training of a specialist of the relevant profile were determined. The study of the content of the basic concepts and positions of modern pedagogical knowledge confirmed the scientific position about the significant methodological potential of the axiological development environment in relation to the practical solution of the task of forming the axiological competence of the future specialist in the field of culture and arts. In the work, the definition of the term "axiodevelopmental environment" is substantiated, the methodical and functional potential of such an environment is revealed, typical functional blocks in the structure of the axiodevelopmental environment (cognitive, motivational, operational and organizational-logistical) are singled out. The content of each block is determined by the system of educational paradigms (general and special). The proposed structural organization of the axiological development environment opens up practical opportunities for the systematic implementation of innovative methods of implementing the axiological approach. The described block-component structure of the educational development environment is the basis of the author's methodology for designing an axio-developmental environment for the professional training of a future specialist in the field of culture and arts. The methodology is a system of steps (methodical and organizational-management actions) regarding the modeling and practical implementation of organizational-pedagogical conditions aimed at ensuring the value-oriented nature of the professional training of specialists in the field of culture and arts. The peculiarity of the methodology is its universal nature and the possibility of using it in the educational process of professional training of representatives of other specialties. According to the results of the substantiation stage of pedagogical conditions for the formation of axiological competence of a future specialist in the cultural and artistic sphere, it is shown that the most promising pedagogical conditions for the formation of appropriate competence of a future specialist in the field 02 "Culture and art" in the conditions of an axiological development environment are: 1) formation of an intellectual and cognitive basis value motivation in professional activity; 2) actualization of the value motivation of the formation of a developed value-meaning sphere and axiological culture; 3) activation of life and professional practice based on values and axiological knowledge; 4) encouragement of personal (value) self-development through personal participation in the creation of value-meaning structures. On the basis of justified means of diagnosis and the developed structural-functional model of formation of axiological competence of a future specialist in the field 02 "Culture and art", the productivity of the idea of involving an axiological environment in the process of professional training of a specialist of the relevant profile was experimentally verified. The obtained results of the experimental stage and the developed theoretical material indicate the perspective of introducing into the educational process of cultural and artistic institutions of higher education the structural-functional model of the formation of axiological competence on the basis of the proposed pedagogical conditions, and also give grounds for initiating the substantive adjustment of the standards of higher education for the field 02 "Culture and art" in terms of strengthening their axiological orientation.
