Kuchinko M. Volyn Land in the X - first half of the XIV centuries.

Dissertation is devoted to the complex research of the Voly Volyn land in the X - first half of the XIV century. In the work work the role and place of the land as the part of Kyiv Rus and and Galych-Volyn state are cleared out. The materials of the resear researched in the last decades memorials of the Western Volyn, Holmschyna and Pidliashshia are introduced into scientific turn. It is given thorough characteristic of their complexes, typological, chronological classification of the archaelogical materials, and defined their regional specificity. On this base the problems of economy, social organization and spiritual culture of the local population are being taken up. This proved that the entry of Volyn in to Kyiv Rus led to the deepening of feudal power in the region, which resulted in the construction of new towns. The analysis of the etnocultural processes showed that the root population here were duliby-buggiany-volyniany and dregovichi, jatviagi and masovshany were the people who came la ter. The tribal and territorial borders of the Volyn land are being defined and the basic political events that are linked wiht it's early middle ages history being are taken up.
