Essay

The dissertation is devoted to investigation of neurobiological regularities of formation of acquired motivations on the model of morphine dependence, and role of the brain system of positive emotional support in these mechanisms. The age features of positive emotiogenic system function and their significance in the mechanisms of morphine dependence formation are investigated. The participation of various emotiogenic structures of the brain in the mechanisms of morphine addiction and the differential involvement of these mechanisms in the initiation and development of pathological motivation with complex character of interrelations of the organism's neuromediator systems is shown. The hypothesis that the presence of natural endogenous "narcotization" serves as a self-regulation mechanism of emotiogenous homeostasis is experimentally proved. The general neurobiological conception of dependence formation coused by psychoactive compounds is grounded. The role of emotional stress in the formation of morphi ne dependence is specified. Risk factors are determined and neurobiological criteria of morphine addiction prognosis are proposed.
