The dissertation is devoted to simulation of working processes and optimum design of the mining machines for rock failure (crushers and mining extraction machines), at which the velocity of interaction of the executive organs with plant of destruction does not exceed 3 m/s. The new solution of an actual scientific problem consisting in development of scientific bases of simulation of the working process of the mining machines as nonlinear autonomous stochastic systems is given. The basic principles and methods of modelling and optimization of the mining machines for rock failure are established. The mathematical models of the working process of double roll toothed, single roll and vibrating jaw crushers, and also cutter-loaders are developed and are used at problem solving of optimum design. The results of work have found an industrial utility in the creation new and modernizing existing machines of indicated types.
