They have learnt medical aspects of ischemic heart disease(IHD) in the population of the Black Sea Coast region of Ukraine. Negative influence of the ecological and geographic factor on the prevalence of IHD in this region had been studied. The typical cardio-vascular risk factors leading to the development of IHD in the population under study similar with traditional had been revealed. Correlation between IHD prevalence level, factors of cardio-vascular risk, sex and age characteristics in the groups under study had been found.
