The object of research is the Iranian nuclear program. Methodological basis of the study. The complex nature of the studied problem led to the choice of a number of general approaches and research methods. the methodological basis of the dissertation research is formed by a combination of a number of approaches (systemic and structural-functional), principles (historicism, objectivity, ideological impartiality) and methods (analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, analogy, modeling, content and event analysis, comparison), and theoretical - the concept of neorealism. Scientific novelty of the obtained results. The dissertation is the first in domestic political science thorough and comprehensive study of Iran's nuclear program through the prism of the dynamics of regional and global security. The practical significance of the obtained results is determined by the scientific novelty, relevance and the possibility of the application for research, applied and educational purposes.
