Essay

The dissertation work is a theoretical and experimental study of the problem of the formation of professional competence of future fine arts teachers by means of creative project activity. Educational reforms, conditioned by the integration of Ukraine into the European educational space, the implementation of the Concept of the New Ukrainian School, provide for the development of new educational standards, updating and revising curricula, the content of educational and didactic materials, textbooks, forms and methods of teaching in higher education institutions. The main thing in the implementation of the New Ukrainian School is the application of project technologies by teachers in the educational process of schools, which will develop key competencies for life in the 21st century in student. The priority for higher education institutions is to improve the mechanisms for ensuring the quality of education, to create conditions for the consistent and efficient formation of the professional competence of future teachers to work in the New Ukrainian School, who have a high level of culture, value ideals, critical thinking, professional reflection and who will have the ability to implement project technologies in professional activity, which is the basis for the development of a new generation of Ukrainian society – highly educated public figures, people who make not only their own lives, but also the state, and are competitive at the world level. The main goal of higher education is high-quality professional training of competent teachers to upgrade the vocational training system by finding efficient means that meet modern requirements and global trends in the development of education.
