Kotubei V. Formation of socio-cultural competence of future primary school teachers in pedagogical colleges

Dissertation is devoted to the problem of formation of socio-cultural competence of future primary school teachers in pedagogical colleges. It has been studied and analyzed the development state of the problem of formation of socio-cultural competence of future primary school teachers in pedagogical colleges in theory and in practice. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that: the essence of formation of socio-cultural competence of future primary school teachers as a holistic process, based on culturological and humanitarian components of pedagogical education, directed on mastering by students a set of humanitarian knowledge, socially significant practical skills, formation of personal qualities, getting experience in teaching and socio-cultural activities, development of communicative and organizational abilities, value orientations, has been defined for the first time; pedagogical conditions of formation of socio-cultural competence of future primary school teachers in pedagogical colleges have been substantiated. The structural-functional model of formation of socio-cultural competence of future primary school teachers in pedagogical colleges and its content (target, meaningful, procedural, resultative blocks), which integrates invariant part and variable elements (caused by a specific of vocational training of future primary school teachers in pedagogical colleges). The content, forms and methods of formation of socio-cultural competence of future primary school teachers in pedagogical college were further developed. Practical meaning of dissertation is in the development of socio-cultural oriented educational and methodical complex “Fundamentals of Socio-Cultural Interaction of Future Primary School Teachers” for studying such disciplines as “History of Ukraine”, “World History”, “Human and the World”, “Culturology”, “Psychology (general, age, pedagogical)”, “Pedagogy”, “Methods of Teaching the Subject “I am in the World””.
