The dissertation is devoted to the solution of a relevant medical and social problem – scientific substantiation and development of the optimized model of medical and social rehabilitation of patients with chronic pancreatitis. The results of a comprehensive medical and social study indicate the need to optimize the organization of medical care and rehabilitation of patients with chronic pancreatitis, which will lead to an improvement in the results of rehabilitation, quality of life of patients with this pathology, reduction of negative indicators, namely: disability, mortality, and temporary and permanent disability etc. An optimized model of medico-social rehabilitation of patients with chronic pancreatitis involves application of a number of conceptual principles of rehabilitation of patients, among which you need to determine: timeliness of the beginning of rehabilitation, unity of treatment and rehabilitation, continuity, consistency, heredity, comprehensive rehabilitation, regard to individual characteristics of a patient, involvement of non-governmental organizations, local self-government bodies and population into the development and conducting of rehabilitation, evaluation of the effectiveness of rehabilitation measures multidsciplinarity and functional purpose. According to the experts' findings, the optimized model of medical and social rehabilitation of patients with chronic pancreatitis has following characteristics: preventive orientation (9,3±0,2), economic feasibility (8,6±0,2), compliance with modern international experience (9,1±0,1), efficiency (8,4±0,2), availability (8,4±0,2), complexity (9,0±0,2) and systemacy (9,2±0,1), as well as improvement of the quality of life and life expectancy (8,7±0,2), the level of patient awareness (9,0±0,2), the level of seeking medical help (8,6±0,2), the satisfaction with the quality of medical care (8,8±0,2), effectiveness of medical care (8,7±0,2), economy of medical care (8,0±0,2), and the scientific and technical level of the proposed innovative elements (8,4±0,2). At the same time, 100% of experts identified a positive attitude to the implementation of the developed optimized model of rehabilitation of patients with chronic pancreatitis into healthcare practice.
