Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the scientific and practical problems of management of sustainable development of meat processing enterprises of the agro- food sphere in Ukraine. A critical analysis of the theoretical principles on managing the development of meat processing enterprises by clarifying such concepts as «sustainability», «sustainable development», «management of sustainable development» has been conducted. Summarizing of the theoretical principles on the structural and functional mechanism of management of sustainable development of meat processing enterprises of the agro-food sector in Ukraine resulted in the statement that it is a syncretic stable integrity. Substantiated methodological approaches to assessing a level of management of sustainable development of meat processing enterprises using an updated system of sustainability indicators, which, unlike existing ones, contribute to the formalization of tasks and tools to ensure the priority areas of sustainable development. Adapted mechanism of the development of management strategy for sustainable development of meat processing enterprises of the agro-food sector in Ukraine, the difference of which is the combination of strategic decisions on financial and economic, organizational and managerial, production and technological, investment, innovation and human resources development.
