The dissertation reveals the meaning of the concept «information competence of future teachers of vocational training»; the problem of professional training of future teachers of professional training in the context of development of modern information society is analyzed, features of information technologies in professional activity and preparation of future teachers of professional training are defined, the maintenance and components of information competence of future teachers of professional training are investigated; proposed and substantiated pedagogical conditions for the formation of information competence of future teachers of vocational training (creation of information educational environment for the formation of information competence of future teachers of vocational training; modeling of professional situations to form information competence of future teachers of vocational training; use of information and communication and Web technologies information competence of the future teacher of vocational training); the model of formation of information competence of the future teacher of professional training is developed and tested
