The dissertation theoretically substantiated, practically developed and experimentally tested the organizational and pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of training foreign students of medical specialties to overcome communicative barriers in professional communication. According to the results of the analysis of scientific sources dedicated to the study of the essence of communication barriers and their place in the structure of professional communication of doctors, it was determined that communication as a complex, multi-faceted process of establishing and developing interpersonal contacts, which is generated by the need for joint activity, is determined by communication (exchange of information) , interaction (interpersonal interaction), perception (mutual perception). It contains cognitive, affective, behavioral and socio-perceptual content components for the implementation of many functions, the main of which are: contact and establishing relationships, informational, motivating, coordinating, understanding, influence. Depending on the sphere of implementation and means, communication is divided into personal and business or professional. Professional communication ensures the achievement of the goal of professional activity, the solution of its professional tasks, is carried out on the basis of the norms and rules established in a certain professional field, and according to its characteristics, it is purposeful, regulated, positional and hierarchical, attributive, and has a functional-role character. A characteristic feature of the professional communication of medical workers is that it should combine the characteristics of oral, business, and everyday speech and meet the parameters of three functional styles at once: conversational, which involves situationality, intonation diversity, is accompanied by gestures and facial expressions; scientific, aimed at the use of special medical terms; official-business, which requires accuracy, brevity, standardization, compliance with the norms of professional etiquette. It has been established that a natural attribute of communication in general and professional communication of doctors in particular is the emergence of barriers to communication - its absolute or relative obstacles, which are subjectively experienced or actually present in situations of interaction and which are determined by many factors: external and internal (motivational and operational , social-psychological, individual-psychological), as well as lack of feedback, etc. The work defines and characterizes the types of communication barriers: by place/area of dominant factor; by substantive or procedural characteristics; according to the degree of awareness of the individual; by the degree of communication blocking; by the nature of communication, etc. It was established that a separate group of barriers to the professional communication of doctors are the barriers of intercultural communication: linguistic (caused by an insufficient level of mastery of a foreign language (phonetic, grammatical, lexical component); ethnic (differences of subjects of communication, as carriers of different cultures, ethnic groups) discursive (complications based on ignorance of the rules of communication in certain situations of interaction). The communication of foreign students of medical specialties is naturally characterized by the presence of a whole spectrum of communicative barriers (external, internal, discursive), the main common feature of which is the belonging of future specialists to other national and linguistic and cultural communities, which negatively affects both the quality of their professional education and and further professional activity. Therefore, the professional training of future foreign medical specialists should include, in particular, the systematic and purposeful formation of their integral readiness to overcome communicative barriers in professional communication. The conducted scientific research made it possible to state that the readiness of foreign students of medical specialties to overcome communicative barriers in professional communication is a complex personal and professional phenomenon that contains valuable (personal and professional attitudes, value orientations, motivational orientation), cognitive (complex, systemic , effective and scientific knowledge about the essence of professional communication of doctors, communicative barriers, factors of their occurrence, as well as methods and mechanisms of counteraction and overcoming) and constructive (professional skills of successfully performing a complex communicative action) component, determined by features (content, conditions and requirements ) of professional communication, determines its effectiveness and is the result of professional training and professional development of the future specialist...
