Zaporozhets V. Features of the functioning of the UAOC in the 90-ies.. ХХ century – 10-ies of the XXI century

The dissertation is devoted to the specifics and peculiarities of the functioning of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church in the modern period. The work focuses on both external church and internal church aspects of the existence of this religious organization in an independent Ukraine. In modern Ukrainian realities, the religious factor plays an important role, which is associated with the emergence of a new society in a situation after the Revolution of Dignity and the military crisis in eastern Ukraine. Undoubtedly, under such conditions, the activation of traditional denominations, which in the national history have a certain state-building and socio-cultural significance, in particular, the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church (hereinafter referred to as the UAOC), is taking place. It should be noted that the scientific understanding of the UAOC in the literature, to a greater extent, is drawn to its history, but little attention is paid to the specifics, peculiarities and basic church-legal and socio-cultural development vectors. It was with the achievement of our country's independence in 1991 that the UAOC actively institutionalized and functioned in our fields in various spheres of social life.
