Essay

The object of the study is the process of formation and development of cross-border clusters in the system of cross-border cooperation. The research aims to the development of theoretical provisions and substantiation of methodological and applied recommendations for the formation and development of cross-border clusters. The author used such methods as: generalization, system analysis, economic-mathematical modeling, abstraction, optimization method. The theoretical value of the thesis refers to the study of the theoretical principles of formation and development of cross-border clusters. Scientific novelty of the results: the author has proposed a method of assessing the economic feasibility and effectiveness of the formation of a cross-border cluster; has improved the tools for assessing the organizational and functional mechanisms of formation and development of cross-border cluster structures; has improved the model of the relationship between the buyer and seller of products that are members of the cross-border cluster; has improved the economic risk management mechanism based on the formation and development of cross-border clusters; has developed the concept of cross-border cluster; has developed approaches to grouping factors of formation and development of cross-border clusters. The subject of research are scientific-methodical and applied provisions on the formation and development of cross-border clusters. Author’s recommendations are used during the formation and development of cross-border clusters in the system of cross-border cooperation of Ukraine. The scope of use of the author's recommendations is enterprises, state and regional authorities.
