Essay

For the purpose of keeping the cohesion and coherence of the thesis, the concept «project» and its derivatives are used in accordance with the previous standards of Ukrainian spelling (prior to 2019). The dissertation presents a theoretical and experimental research of the problem of training future foreign languages teachers for project activity at comprehensive schools. The relevance of the research consists in the necessity of an effective training of future specialists for innovative activity at comprehensive schools in the context of Ukraine’s integration into European educational environment. The study has proved the importance of the noted training in accordance with the priority principles of the state documents that define its strategic directions. These documents are: All-European guidelines on language education (2001), The National Doctrine of Education Development (2002), the laws of Ukraine «On Higher Education» (2014), «On Education» (2017); the Draft Concept of the Development of Education in Ukraine for the period of 2015-2025, etc. It has been claimed that according to researchers and experts, all the problems set in the above mentioned documents can be solved on condition of introducing innovative learning into the educational process of higher school, project activity being central herein.
