The process of formation, implementation and improvement of the mechanism of state regulation of innovative development of the Ukrainian economy in globalization conditions is the research object. The substantiation of the theoretical foundations of the formation and functioning of the mechanism of state regulation of innovative development of the Ukrainian economy in globalization conditions and development of practical recommendations for its improvement is the research goal. The research methods are as following: monographic; system analysis; tabular; observation and generalization; analysis of structural changes; rating; comparative and graphical analysis; abstract and logical; analysis of hierarchies. The content of the notions “mechanism of state regulation of innovative development of the economy”, “innovative development of the economy” etc.; the directions for the development of the regulatory field as a component of the mechanism of state regulation of innovative development of the economy have been improved. The methods of the economy innovative development regulation in globalization conditions; the approaches for qualitative and constructive evaluation of effectiveness of state regulation mechanism of the economy innovative development in globalization conditions have been developed by applying mathematical tools for calculating indices of structural changes and differences in indicators that characterize the results of innovative activity in Ukraine in the regional context, types of economic activity; conceptual theses on the development of the innovation network in Ukraine, which are structured in accordance with the structure of the innovation network, on the one hand, and generalized in accordance with the principles of its development, on the other hand.
