Essay

The dissertation is a historical and pedagogical research aimed at establishing the stages of development of organizational and pedagogical principles of activity Petrovsky Poltava Cadet Corps (1840-1919). In the dissertation for the first time the organizational and pedagogical bases of activity of the Petrovsky Poltava cadet corps (1840 - 1919) taking into account social and political factors and ideas of military pedagogics of the studied period are integrally, comprehensively investigated. Uncommon materials, some historical facts, which give a deeper scientific and pedagogical idea of the activities of the Petrovsky Poltava Cadet Corps, allow to personify the studied phenomenon and prove, that teachers and graduates of this educational institution have made a significant contribution to the development of domestic pedagogy in general and cadet education in particular, as well as in other fields of science and art. The study of organizational and pedagogical principles of the Petrovsky Poltava Cadet Corps is actualized by the activity of modern cadet corps and lyceums with enhanced physical training in Ukraine.
