Essay

The priority of education in a modern school according to the new Law "About Education" (2017) is to strengthen the creative component in the content of all educational areas and the fundamental orientation of students to the development of creativity. This applies to students of all ages, including secondary school students. The process of learning in general secondary education should be focused on the development of well-defined creative abilities of the individual. The Concept of the New Ukrainian School states that only a cohesive community of creative people, responsible citizens, active and enterprising, prepared by the school, should ensure a strong state and a competitive economy. Great opportunities in solving this problem are provided by educational project activities. For the first time it has theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions of creative self-realization of secondary school students in educational project activities; the concept of "creative self-realization of secondary school students" as an integral personal neoplasm; further development of pedagogical methods, in particular the method of projects, organizational forms, exercises, situations, educational projects that contribute to the formation of creative self-realization of secondary school students in educational project activities. Based on the analysis of the main ideas of the theory of self-realization of the individual and the practice of children's creativity, the components of creative self-realization of secondary school students are identified as motivational-value, creative-activity, personal-cognitive.
