The dissertation reflects a scientific and methodological solving the problem of teaching pop vocal to students of secondary sublevel of primary art education and presents the theoretically grounded methods of the forming of a contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus. The world experience of forming of a contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus in students of secondary sublevel of primary art education is considered. The modern trends of music education are singled out, and the state of scientific and pedagogical knowledge on the problem of pop vocal pedagogy is clarified. The essence and structure of a contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus are highlighted. The structural-functional model of the methods of forming of a contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus in students of secondary sublevel of primary art education is developed, the criteria are defined and the levels of formation of contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus are characterized. The course of the formation experiment on introduction of the methods of forming of a contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus in students of secondary sublevel of primary art education is described and the analysis of dynamics of levels of formation of a contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus in students of secondary sublevel of primary art education is made.
The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the fact that: for the first time the essence of a contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus in two dimensions – as a value-oriented personal-activity quality of a pop vocalist and as a pedagogical phenomenon is revealed; the concept of «contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus» is proposed and its structure which consists of cognitive, vocal-technical, artistic-technological, communicative, interpretive and artistic-figurative components and their traditional and specific elements is defined; the methods of forming of a contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus in students of secondary sublevel of primary art education is theoretically justified on the basis of anthropological, holistic-emergent, vital-axiological, creative-acmeological, integrative, competent, praxiological and child-centered approachs, and its structural and functional model which consists of purpose, tasks, functions, general didactic, adapted and original (the principle of artistic and pedagogical support of independent group interaction and the principle of co-creative team communication) pedagogical principles, pedagogical conditions, content, forms, traditional, creative and original methods (the method of deformation of audio- and video-files, the method of analytical audition, the method of empathic cooperation, the method of genre-stylistic experiment and the method of spontaneous-intuitive improvisation) is developed; the criteria (cognitive, vocal-technical, artistic-technological, communicative, creative-interpretive and artistic-figurative) are defined and the levels (high, medium, low) of formation of contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus in students of secondary sublevel of primary art education are characterized; the necessary diagnostic tools (author’s questionnaires and tests, adapted test «Sketches» by P. Torrens) to determine the effectiveness of the author’s methodology is developed.
The theoretical significance of the dissertation consist in that the theory and methods of music education are supplemented with new pedagogical principles and conditions and original methods; the terms «thesaurus», «musical thesaurus», «performing thesaurus», «pop vocal thesaurus» are clarified in the context of pedagogy of pop vocal art; the concept of «formation of a contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus» is concretized.
The practical significance lies in the development, implementation and testing of pedagogical principles, conditions and methods of forming of a contemporary pop vocal-performing thesaurus suitable for use in practical work with students of secondary level of primary art education. The content of the methods which provides for the forming of basic vocal skills and some components of contemporary vocal techniques, acquaintance with the means of expression of contemporary vocal art and creative and practical mastery of contemporary vocal techniques and specific expressive means is outlined. The program of the secondary sublevel of primary art education of the general art direction «Pop vocal» is developed.
