The scientific-theoretical justification of television documentary peculiarities as a screen spectacle in the system of journalistic genres, separation of creative (the script writing) and production (the stages of the documentaries creation) mechanisms of documentary TV content creation and specifics of the television documentary genres transformation is carried out in the dissertation. The object of the dissertation is TV documentary as a screen spectacle, and the subject is the creative and production stages of the formation of documentary television content and the specifics of the transformation of documentary genres, which form the basis of the screen spectacle of TV documentary.
