Mozhechuk L. Legal regulation of pensions for educators in Ukraine

The dissertation examines the implementation of education workers' right to a pension as the main type of their social security; certain features, types and subjects of educational activity; the foreign experience of pension provision of educators is analyzed; the perspective directions of improvement of the current legislation in the investigated legal relations are allocated. Based on the analysis of scholars' views on the interpretation of the essence of pension provision, the definition of pension as a type of social security in Ukraine, the main form of maintenance of disabled citizens of Ukraine, carried out at the expense of accumulated funds of the Pension Fund of Ukraine and the State Budget of Ukraine. and regular material support of disabled citizens of Ukraine in old age, in case of illness, full or partial disability, as well as in case of loss of a breadwinner if there are appropriate legal grounds.
