Essay

The dissertation is devoted to identifying the ritual foundations of cultural actions, comprehending ritual as a symbolic form of culture. In this form of culture, the preservation and transmission of cultural values, formed by the spiritual and symbolic beginning of ritual through the introduction of the subject of cultural life to the ritual action, is carried out. The scientific aim of the research is to generalize the ideas about the specific culturological interpretation of the symbolic-spiritual principle of ritual, as well as through understanding the cultural-creative principle of the implementation of ritual compensatory, emphasizing specific cultural values. According to the logic of this study, artistic achievements with their ideal symbolism of a more existential purpose, are values. However, in a fundamental combination with material embodiment, this gives rise to a special type of communication indicators of an artistic sign. The indicated inextricable unity of the ideal-spiritual and material-communication components, clearly distinguishes specific cultural values from specific ideal and material achievements of human endeavour. The modern post-cultural state of society, which is obviously dissociated from time-tested traditions and, above all, from their rationally differentiated components. This determines the need to develop new guidelines and principles of human existence, the cultural core of which is formed through the ritual sphere. In this position, ritual in modern society turns into an important form of culture, which is in turn an important factor in ordering the spiritual experience accumulated by humanity. The very essence of the ritual in culture is changing, its leading role in cultural deeds is determined by the wide demand - in the spiritually constant, historically formative, anthropologically applied sphere. The dissertation highlights the hierarchy of understanding cultural values, in which spiritual and material-cultural achievements are the polar formations with an obvious decisive identification of the primacy of the symbolic and spiritual principle. A logical analysis of the relationships of a given value volume, pushes the values of art to a middle position, moreover, their functioning in society occurs at the level of specifically cultural values. It is in the values of art that alternative components of spiritual and material-cultural achievements are integrally presented. An analytical recognition of the ritual root in artistic acts, through which the symbolic-spiritual charge of cultural artificiality of human activity is transmitted, is presented. This allows one to understand the essence of the cultural influence of art, bypassing the special aesthetic and artistic principle of analyzing the assessment of the significance of creative products. This approach is stimulated by the existence of a post-post-avant-garde («double-simulacrum») state of the culture of the present. The modern classical heritage is comprehended in the context of cultural reverence for achievements, often outside the author's sense and with the involvement of current video means in presentations of traditional artistic types and genres. The work traces the establishment of a genetic and factual connection between ritual creation and typologies of educational activity, as well as between the procedurality of musical compositions and the procedurality of perception of works of fine art and literature. The work highlights the compensatory-transforming function of ritual activity, which determines the presence of this type of activity at all stages of human history. This function is activated in crisis conditions of changes of formations and epoch-making integrity. In the work, an original achievement is a culturological approach to artifacts, in which ritual proceduralism lays down a semantic-basic education as a cultural asset, the value of which is realized regardless of the artistic and aesthetic purpose of creative influence. In these compositions, according to the conditions of existence, they distinguish between procedural and direct types of art (music, instrumental, and theatrical) and influencing types of arts, which are mediated through perception (the visual sphere, literature). All types of art turn out to be the ritual phase of initiation – initiation – Transfiguration. The Transfiguration is assessed as the purpose of a work of art. The analysis of artistic compositions testifies to the ritual genesis of their high cultural purpose, which receives a special demand in the era of breakdowns and transitions, such epochs characterize the current state of society.
