The dissertation reveals the results of complex theoretical legal intelligence on the peculiarities of the regulation of legal relations in sports in Ukraine. Systematized dissertation material is the result analysis of research relevant to the proposed topic, relevant normative legal acts, international legal agreements, law enforcement practice, statistical and analytical data.
The paper reviews the main ideas of scientific research, related to the regulation of legal relations in the field of sports, found out methodological features of such research. A special role is revealed in system-structural and system-functional methods for the study of the place of sports law in the legal system and the system legislation.
It is emphasized that the interest in understanding the peculiarities of regulation legal relations in the field of sports began to grow especially during the latter decades. This is due to the fact that sports competitions began to cause special interest as an important part of the entertainment business, as well as that being healthy and having a sporty look has become a mass cultural one trend. Thus, the volume of interactions related to the sphere has increased sports, which led to an increase in public and private interests, and hence, the volume of legally significant situations in the field of sports and, accordingly, expanding the environment of sports-legal relations.
The scientific works of researchers who were interested in this topic are largely devoted to clarifying the place of such a phenomenon as «sports law» in the legal system and the legal system. Despite the fact that this legal complex is still in the process of development, it is necessary not only to record the state of regulation of legal relations in the field of sports at a certain time but also trends and directions of its development. Many scientists pay attention to the problems of regulation of legal
relations in the field of sports in their scientific works, in particular: A. Aparov, G. Bordyugova, G. Garo, O. Zayarny, M. Kostenko, A. Kuts, O. Kushnir, O. Morgunov, I. Protsyk, A. Serdyukov, M. Tikhonova, M. Tkalych and others.
The paper summarizes scientific research on the problems of regulation of legal relations in the field of sports, offers the author's vision of systematization in this area, reveals the main approaches to improving the mechanism of regulation of legal relations in the field of sports. In particular, the problem of clarifying the place of sports law in the legal system and the legal system, as well as the definition of the object and subject of legal relations in the field of sports.
