Essay

In the dissertation the problem of formation of musical and aesthetic competence of teenagers in establishments of out - of - school art education is investigated. The views of representatives of different branches of knowledge on this problem are analyzed. The essence of key research concepts – "competence", "musical-aesthetic competence", basic – "musical-aesthetic activity", musical-aesthetic education, "musical-aesthetic perception" and derivatives – "musical-aesthetic environment" is clarified. "Musical-aesthetic experience", "musical-aesthetic ideas", "musical-aesthetic evaluation". The musical-aesthetic competence of adolescents is interpreted as a dynamic combination of acquired and mastered musical-aesthetic knowledge, skills, abilities, qualities and values due to the influence of art, which adolescents are able to successfully implement in the process of educational, extracurricular and future professional activities. A structural-functional model of formation of musical-aesthetic competence of adolescents has been developed, which includes perspective-target, theoretical-methodological, content-procedural and control-effective blocks. It is scientifically substantiated that the effectiveness of the formation of musical and aesthetic competence of adolescents is ensured by the introduction in out-of-school art education institutions specially developed on the basis of interdisciplinary, acmeological, hedonistic, competence and genre-style approaches to pedagogical conditions. Such pedagogical conditions determine: creation of an artistic and aesthetic environment in out-of-school art education institutions, development of adolescents 'ability to fully perceive musical works, mastery of adolescents' skills of artistic interpretation of musical works, constant updating of musical-intonational vocabulary, learning piano music for children.
