Essay

The thesis deals with the issues of developing communication culture of future teachers at preschool education establishments in Master’s Degree program. After analyzing scientific and pedagogical, methodological and special literature, the issues of developing communication culture of future teachers of preschool educational establishments in Master’s Degree program are identified, namely: the need to develop new educational Master’s Degree programs in accordance with the legal updates; little interest in updating communicative knowledge, increasing the level of communication literacy, reflecting on the development of communication culture; insufficient development of the ability to change and control personal communication behavior depending on the situation of interaction with the subjects of the educational process; the need to ensure the comprehensive harmonious development of preschoolers, which is impossible without the developed communication culture of the teacher, etc. The basic concepts of the thesis «communication culture of the future teachers of preschool education establishments» are defined as a set of personal communicative qualities and skills, characterized by the availability of appropriate abilities, a system of knowledge of both native and foreign languages, age and individual-psychological peculiarities of preschooler development, provisions, rules and principles of communication culture adopted in the society, norms of communicative behavior at children and pedagogical multicultural teams for successful cooperation and mutual understanding with different categories of preschoolers, their parents, colleagues, administration, partners of preschool education establishments, governing bodies and self-government organizations through verbal and non-verbal means of communication; «Development of communication culture of future teachers at preschool education establishments in Master’s Degree program» is a deliberate purposeful process of positive changes in the set of personal communicative qualities and skills, which is subordinate to the purpose of their professional training and characterized by the interdependence of the communication culture components (communicative-reflexive orientation, communication literacy, communication ethics, cross-cultural interaction, communication and organizational qualifications), with the results of understanding the importance and the need for this process to ensure the constitutional rights and state guarantees for preschoolers concerning getting quality education using verbal and non-verbal communication; constant update of communicative knowledge and ability to put it into practice; improving cross-cultural interaction and reflection. The criteria and indicators of developing communication culture of future teachers at preschool education establishments in Master’s Degree program are determined: motivational-reflexive (future preschool teachers’ awareness of the importance of developing communication culture of preschool education establishments in Master’s Degree program for future professional activity and striving for its improvement; understanding the need to develop communication culture as motivation to achieve success; the ability to reflect on one's professional and personal self-development and communication activity); cognitive-practical (the level of communication skills; level of communication literacy; the ability to practically apply the acquired communicative knowledge), interactive-personal (the ability to effectively carry out cross-cultural interaction in the educational environment based on the principles of tolerant communication, professional ethics, the ability to change and control own communication behavior depending on the communication situation, the ability to establish business and personal relations with the subjects of the educational process and colleagues from other educational establishments and educational partners) and levels. The structural-functional model of the system of developing communication culture of future teachers at preschool education establishments in Master’s Degree program is theoretically explained. It consists of the following modules: methodological-content, organizational-communicative and evaluation-effective. According to the results of the forming stage of the experiment, the effectiveness of the developing communication culture of future teachers at preschool education establishments in Master’s Degree program was evaluated. The respondents of the experimental group had an increase in all the criteria and their indicators. The respondents of the control group also had better results, however only within the range of 15–20 %.
