Essay

The dissertation includes analysis of theoretical principles of sexual abuse against children and the formulation of scientifically-based psychological protocol of assessment of psychotrauma features caused by sexual abuse. It was found that the first research on sexual violence focused on brutal rape, and later other forms of sexual abuse of children began to be studied. The current stage of development of protection of children’s rights from sexual violence is a separate global issue that needs to be comprehensively solved. Emphasis is placed on the lack of a cross-sectoral approach to understanding sexual abuse against children.
