In this paper work the effectiveness of developing a stable interest in tourist
activity among teenagers in the terms of summer recreational camps (further – SRC) is
theoretically based on a personally-oriented approach. It was determined psycho-
pedagogical aspects of the process, methodological basis, recreated algorithm of
arising interest in tourist activity among teenagers and educational model of its
forming in pedagogical terms of SRC, were found forms and methods based on
personally-oriented approach, reviewed its dynamics on motivational levels, while
satisfying personal expectations of staying at SRC, physical readiness (in meaning of
forces, endurance, speed, sprint).
Scientific novelty of obtained results of the research lies in the following:
- or the first time was fully defined, theoretically grounded the proficiency
of the process of forming a teenage interest in tourist activity in terms of summer
recreational camp based on personally-oriented approach;
- was the definition of «interest in tourist activity» which allowed to
recreate the algorithm of its developing and the model of its forming which was based
on personally-oriented approach by criteria of its objective principles, theoretical
methodological ground, general ways and means, mentality criteria;
- was established, that by the means of using natural (water, air, sun) and
healthful factors, along with unnaturally created (organizing and implementing of the
tourist hiking activity, physical exercises, songs, competition, performance, etc.)
within pedagogical surroundings at summer recreational camps, we encourage
teenagers and form a stable interest in a tourist activity while in syncretism of
knowledge, action and satisfaction, at the same time playing social and educational,
cognitive, upgrowth roles;
- the following progress is achieved by the actualization of the
methodological practice of the tourist means in the terms of educational process at
summer recreational camp and elsewhere, which gives teenagers a stable interest for
this kind of activity;
- it’s been set up, that the cause of decreasing teenagers’ interest in tourist
activity lies in the absence of proper motivation, which should be founded on the
actualization of the principles of personally-oriented approach, valeological culture of
an individual and social competence.
Unstable political, socio-economic status of the state and society brings in
teenagers’ minds a feeling of protest, nihilism and estrangement, neglecting
responsible attitude towards own health, ability for self-knowledge and self-
realization, radical individualism.
