Essay

Creativity is a prerequisite for comprehensive human development, which makes life emotionally rich and vibrant. Children’s creative activity awakens the imagination, teaches to dream, to create something new and unusual. Drawing, creating simple items, writing poems, stories or fairy tales, replaying a melody – all these activities develop thinking, aesthetic taste and imagination. The basis of children's creativity are the inclinations that develop their skills under the influence of certain conditions. Since each child is creative, an important place in the organization of its activities is occupied by pedagogical support, where the task of the teacher is timely identification of each child’s talents. Nowadays, the issues of improving the education system are topical, the child-centeredness, continuity and continuity of which should contribute to the overall development of creative personality. Without the involvement of children in the cognition of art, it is difficult to carry out creative development of personality. At the same time, until 2021 in preschool education (until the emergence of a new standard of preschool education – BCPE) classical art was not considered as an active means of child development. Children’s passive art works perception, the lack of development of emotionally valuable attitude to different types of art did not contribute to the development of children’s creative potential and, accordingly, the development of their creative abilities in general.
