Essay

Recently, there have been tendencies to threaten external aggression and encroach on the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine. Therefore, it is time to increase the combat capability of the National Guard of Ukraine as a military formation capable of performing law enforcement and defense tasks of national security of Ukraine. The expediency of studying the topic is caused by either the necessity to resolve contradictions between: state and social requirements for high qualification level of employees of the National Guard of Ukraine or insufficient appeal to the nature of abilities and talents, the usage of the potential of each serviceman and employee of the National Guard of Ukraine during professional training; potential opportunities of the educational process in higher educational institutions with specific learning conditions and insufficient readiness of cadets to reveal their own potential in work with the personnel of the unit; the necessity to form a high level of readiness of future officers for professional self-realization during their work with personnel and insufficient development and implementation of pedagogical conditions that provide cadets with a level of such readiness. Effectiveness of the pedagogical conditions for the formation of the future officer’s readiness to professional self-realization in the work with personnel in specialized educational institutions have been theoretically justified and tested for the first time; it was specified the concept of “the future officer’s readiness to professional self-realization in the work with personnel” as an integrative personalized innovation, including goals, needs, interests, motives of professional self-realization, knowledge of own "I" - concept and ability to reveal and fulfil the personal potential in military arts, skills and knowledge of methods of work with the personnel; the further development was gained by provisions of the theory of personal self-realization as a disclosure of needs of professional personal self-realization in military communities, formation of readiness for cadets’ professional self-realization by the updated means of work with personnel.
