The dissertation is devoted to the research of the process of formation and development of the genre of accordion translations in the context of formation of professional accordion art. This phenomenon is concretized on the basis of consideration of a number of demonstrative works - arrangements for accordion from the repertoire of various instruments and symphony and folk orchestras. A separate section consists of translations from button accordion to accordion.
