The scientific concept of the study is based on the understanding of the sound image of the instrument as a parameter that determines the individual style of musical creativity. History of piano art of the XIX – XX centuries is presented as the evolution of sound images of the instrument that embodying the development of musical performance styles and genres, especially the genre of etude.
