One of the most important problems within psychology is the study of conditions, manifestations and mechanisms to ensure the full psychological functioning of individual. The phenomenon of subjective well-being of the individual is comprehensively studied in the world psychological science. The problem of subjective well-being and its impact on various aspects of an ndividual’s life becomes especially relevant for people with a homosexual orientation, whose position in Ukrainian society is ambiguous. Therefore, the sexual identity of the individual should be considered as one of the important aspects in the study of the subjective well-being of the individual. The object of research is the phenomenon of subjective well-being. The subject of the study is the features of the subjective well-being of people with homosexual orientation. The purpose of the study is to elucidate the psychological characteristics of the subjective well-being of people with a homosexual orientation.
