Essay

Integration of higher education of Ukraine into the European space, signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, decision of the European Commission on creation of the European educational space by 2025 and adaptation of education to the digital age, adoption of the Action Plan on Digital Education and Roadmap The European Reconstruction Plan (NextGenerationEU) and the Erasmus + program, changes in the Laws of Ukraine "On Education", "On Vocational (Technical) Education", "On Higher Education", the adoption of the Strategy for the Development of Vocational Education until 2023 put forward new requirements to train a highly qualified specialist, including a future teacher of vocational training. First of all, it is the ability to quickly navigate in a rich information space, analyze perceived information, make non-standard decisions, learn and improve skills throughout professional activities and life in general. These requirements have led to radical changes in the organization and implementation of the educational process in higher education, including updating the content of educational programs, increasing the amount of independent work, introducing innovative forms of interaction between teachers and students, expanding the variability of higher education. The effectiveness of such educational activities largely depends on the personal characteristics of students, which are manifested in the setting of educational goals, planning, self-organization, coordination, self-control and evaluation of the results of personal educational activities.
