The dissertation theoretically summarises and proposes a new solution to the scientific and applied problem of innovative development of socio-ecological-economic systems of Ukraine and regions, namely, the theoretical positions have been substantiated, scientific and methodical approaches, methods, and scientific and practical recommendations have been developed.
The objective necessity and expediency of researching the country and regions’ innovative development as socio-ecological-economic systems, the processes that are of paramount importance for sustainable development in a globalised world, have been scientifically grounded.
Theoretical principles on the country and regions' innovative development as socio-ecological-economic systems, the role and significance of the innovation component country and regions’ innovative development as socio-ecological-economic systems have been summarised. Therefore, the theoretical meaning of the socio-ecological-economic system in the country and regions has been clarified, emphasising its interconnected and interdependent subsystems and their composition and properties, particularly innovation. It is the innovative connections in the subsystems and between them that form the basis for development.
Their introduction confirms the practical significance of the obtained scientific results into the activities of the Economics Department of Donetsk Regional State Administration, the Institute of Market Problems and Economic-Ecological Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, NGO «Innovations and Socio-Economic Initiatives», LLC «New Heat Technologies», Donetsk State University of Management.
