Essay

The dissertation research is devoted to the problem of professional and applied physical training (PAPT) of students of construction specialties in the institutions of professional pre-higher education. According to the results of generalization of scientific research, modern ideas about PAPT in the system of higher education are presented, the general characteristic of the specifics of professional activity of the construction specialists and requirements of their professional training are given, the role, purpose and tasks of PAPT of students of construction specialties of the institutions of professional pre-higher education are analyzed, the methodological foundations of PAPT of students of construction specialties of the institutions of professional pre-higher education are revealed. Professionally important physical qualities (abilities) for specialists of construction specialties which should be formed in the course of PAPT are determined: endurance (mainly in dynamic work); coordination and other motor abilities; diverse motor skills; resistance of an organism to variability of weather conditions; the ability to maintain body balance on a narrow and unstable support or in unusual working postures; stability of touch control functions; self-control. According to the results of generalization of scientific and pedagogical research, methodological approaches for successful PAPT of students of construction specialties of the institutions of professional pre-higher education are substantiated: personal, activity, systems-structural, competence, culturological and axiological. The need to substantiate the program of physical education of students of construction specialties is proved. Its implementation will enable development of professionally important physical qualities and the state of their physical fitness in terms of training. The purpose of the program of PAPT of students of construction specialties of the institutions of professional pre-higher education is to form a harmoniously developed, highly spiritual and highly moral personality, a qualified specialist-builder who has mastered stable knowledge and skills in the field of physical culture and health-saving. The task of the program is to form in future specialists of construction specialties: value attitude to health, develop interest and motivation to preserve it; system of knowledge about physical culture, health and healthy lifestyle; ability to master the basic methods of diagnosing the level of health and the ability to maintain healthy lifestyle; individual physical and psychological qualities that are important for future professional activity. The content of the program is supplemented by the educational material on: maintaining the health and importance of physical culture (training) in the professional activities of construction professionals, morbidity prevention and rehabilitation; peculiarities of physical training of specialists of the construction sector of different specialization; system of medical knowledge for specialists of the construction sector with health technologies; PAPT system for specialists in the construction sector, which helps to improve their efficiency. For the first time: the experimental program of PAPT for students of construction specialties in the institutions of professional pre-higher education is theoretically and experimentally substantiated; forms, means and methods of PAPT of students of construction specialties in the institutions of professional pre-higher education are systematized; a system of exercises for the development of physical qualities of students of construction specialties in the institutions of professional pre-higher education has been developed. Confirmed: data on the significant impact of PAPT on the results of specialist training; results on the low level of motivation of students to engage in physical culture. Updated data: on the importance of the level of motivation and its impact on the regulation of human motor activity; on the level of physical health of student youth; on indicators of physical fitness of students. Have been further developed: quantitative and qualitative data on the level of theoretical knowledge in physical culture; quantitative data on the level of the biogeometric profile of posture.
