Manko A. Creativity of Ivan Nyzovyi in the ideological and artistic context of the era

The dissertation is the first comprehensive study of I. Nyzovyi’s work in biographical, historical, sociocultural, literary and receptive contexts. The object of this research was the poetic, memoir, journalistic works of I. Nyzovyi and his fiction, published during the life of the writer in collections of poetic and prose works, in literary and artistic almanacs and periodicals; manuscripts published posthumously in four volumes of his five-volume selected works; literary-critical works of researchers and videos dedicated to the artist’s biography. The scientific novelty of the work is due to the first attempt to make a comprehensive, systematic analysis of lyrical works, fiction and memoir-journalistic heritage of I. Nyzovyi in the context of the era in Ukrainian literature. The biography and work of the writer, despite isolated attempts at linguistic and literary analysis of his individual poetic texts, remains a virtually unexplored issue.The work presents important milestones in the life and work of I. Nyzovyi, which help to understand better the author’s intentions, to determine the place of the artist in the contextual field of contemporary Ukrainian socio-political and artistic reality. The practical significance of the obtained results. The results of the work can be used in the preparation for the Native land lessons in secondary schools of Luhansk region; courses on the history of Ukrainian literature of the XX – the beginning of the XXI century, literary studies, special courses and special seminars in higher education institutions; when writing textbooks and manuals for schoolchildren and students of humanitarian specialty; course, diploma, master’s theses, scientific articles on the biography of I. Nyzovyi, as well as for planning and conducting various events to honor the memory of the writer (thematic lessons, literary evenings).
