The dissertation research is devoted to the identification and analysis of motivational and semantic orientations of patients with diabetes. Diabetes mellitus belongs to chronic somatic diseases, which have both somatic and mental components. Its course is characterized by metabolic disorders, as well as the likelihood of developing anxiety and depressive disorders. Motivational and semantic sphere is considered as a hierarchically organized and dynamic set of motivational and semantic formations and connections between them, which carries out motivational and semantic regulation of integral life in all its aspects.
